IMPORTANT:
Please remember to arrive 15 minutes before the start time to allow for set up/practice and for those who are sparring to BE IN THEIR KITS for the allocated start time.
You must also have a CURRENT LICENCE. Please check that yours is in date!
EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!
You must wear your FULL DOBOK (white suit). No club t/shirts – the full thing please! If you don’t have one or you need a new one, you can order this from Mr Schembri. The only exception is for our ex-Ninjas who are taking their very first colour belt grading. If you don’t have a dobok yet, you can wear your Ninja Uniform for this grading only – but you must have one for all subsequent gradings.
If you are a GREEN BELT OR ABOVE you ABSOLUTELY MUST bring your FULL SPARRING KIT. It is an official TAGB requirement and can result in an automatic fail if you are not able to complete this element of your grading (sparring is one of the elements of the examination once you reach green belt – please don’t worry, it is not a tournament setting, there are no ‘winners’ or ‘losers’ it is simply to test your technique and awareness and you will be paired with appropriate students to enable you to show this). Sparring equipment can be purchased from Mr Schembri .
